Re: Legend of the Invincibles
Just want to say... I played this back in the day (10 years ago or so) and I downloaded Wesnoth on steam the other day to get a bit of a blast from the past. I was amazed that not only was this campaign still around but it had been actively updated and maintained over the years. So cool to be playin...

Re: 1.12 SP Campaign - Bad Moon Rising
Another quick "Bug" of sorts. In part two after you return to Ukiah and need to enter the copper mine encountering the roaming orc will trigger a battle. However attacking the orc leader in the capital will... resolve as a normal attack. In fact, I spent three turns attacking him and kille...

Re: 1.12 SP Campaign - Bad Moon Rising
After further testing I can confirm that it is having 7 items equipped in 800:600 resolution and opening the inventory to view them that will crash the game

Re: 1.12 SP Campaign - Bad Moon Rising
Well, that's not good. I'm not sure how ot go about fixing this though. What resolution and language are you using? It might be related to this bug: http://gna.org/bugs/?23822 Changing the resolution doesn't cause a crash for me, but I can't tell from the bug report whether that means anything. Dow...

Re: The Hammer of Thursagan portrait repaints
This might be a little too nitpicky but the arrows in his quiver kind of look like they are one giant shape instead of a group of individual arrows. I'm not artistic enough to explain how you might fix that however

Re: Goblin Spearman Run Cycle
Artisticdude you have really improved a lot since you joined this forum. I remember back when you were struggling with basic sprites in the Art Workshop, and here you are with an excellent looking start on a mainline animation.
Keep up the good work!

I love the messed up eyes, they really add a ton of character.

Re: New animations
Valid. You can always use accelerated speed though. I can't play a game without it, I just find all the animations, even the simplest ones, too slow. I usually go through Wesnoth phases where I play extensively and then quit for several months. Whenever I come back I always start on normal speed or...

Re: The new Wesnoth logo and the Loyalist sigil
I like the second one most, both the font and the effect. As far as fonts go, the first and third are simply too squiggly and illegible. "Battle for DDesnoth?" "DBesnoth?" It's kind of problematic that the W, in particular, is the least legible character when it also starts the ...

I too see the issue lordbob is describing, but I would think it would be a very quick and easy fix (just change the curve of the fabric slightly)

Re: Campaign art - The Rise of Wesnoth
The light effect turns white by edmonds face and red by his beard. THis might be intentional to avoid hiding the details of his face, but it looks a little weird to me, especially by his beard. And if the light was really transparent in such a way it would change colors in other places (such as over...

Re: Orcish Campaign: The Founding of Borstep (For 1.9 too!)
The shamans are part of what make that level so impossible so that might help quite a bit. Against normal trolls your Wraiths and Specters will clean up on them pretty good due to their weakness to arcane, low defense, and the drain abilty of the ghosts attacks. But since one shaman can nuke a full ...
