Contradicting something you're basing your work on sounds like a pretty bad idea to me.

Was there something keeping us from referencing it before?Huston wrote:not really. previously you had to include the music files directly in your campaign. now you don't.

Re: Campaign: Saurian History
Sounds complicated, and I was a little concerned when I saw that your starting setting is similar to what I had in mind for my own campaign, but it seems you are taking this in a surprising direction.
Well, good luck with your campaign.

Re: Saurians
Thanks everyone for the input, I've taken a lot of this into account and have already begun working on the first scenario and some new units. I thought of dividing the remaining Saurian population into tribes, each has a special thing that sets it apart from others. For example, one lives in caves, ...

Re: A Rough Life
1. I actually have enjoyed it, even though I prefer darker, more serious, or more realistic themes with less cliches like princesses, kings, and the like. So far (I'm in the temple, currently) I've been enjoying this, although there were parts I didn't like, or thought were odd (but I can't recall a...

Saurians
I'm working on a campaign in which you play as Saurians, as it seems to me like a fascinating and somewhat neglected race in Wesnoth. Unfortunately, I can't find much information about them. I found a little information in the wiki but it's very short and repetitive (I noticed that it states that th...

Re: Franken-Pack
Handy, but all this antialias blur around these parts means that I would get better and faster results if I cut them out myself, so it's quite obsolete. The weapons Tivinu posted, on the other hand, are much easier to work with. EDIT: I have an idea, why limit this resource to just cut outs of exist...

Re: teamcoloring the leader ellipse
You can make a recolored copy for your campaign and use it instead of the default one. Unless you're making a multi-player campaign and plan to let the players pick their colors.

Re: Check for enough gold to buy items.
You can use [removeitem] tags to remove an item from a hex. Specify an image to remove only that item from the hex if is has several items in it.
Code: Select all
[removeitem]
x,y=5,10
image=items/example.png
[/removeitem]

Re: Help with Main configuration file
(Crappy first post, I know, but I figure I'm at least being a little helpful.) The numbers are indicators of the line the error is in. If it says 6, the error is on the sixth line in that file. EDIT: I skimped through it and I misread. I got the impression that you thought it was the number of the f...
