Re: [interface?] Better Campaign Competion Symbol
I admit that my suggestion was a bit...odd..., and agree for the most part with JaMiT. Whether there is a need to support UMC 'custom difficulties', however, is debatable. For the first part, I didn't realise that the game could support anything other than the four difficulties EASY, MEDIUM, HARD an...

Re: [interface?] Better Campaign Competion Symbol
I'd say bronze-silver-gold would be very hard to throw in with two-(AToTB) or four-(lots) difficulty campaigns, so as a possible workaround, perhaps something like this? There is both a wreath and a shield (a small shield near the bottom of the image, not anything major). The shield may have either ...

Re: [mainline] Loyalist Bowman
Throwing my own experiences into the melting pot: I doubt +1MP would be sensible for the Bowman. This would make them a quasi-scout still capable of some impressive Piercing damage, able to both capture villages and hold them. I would also prefer people not to try and argue that Spearmen are better ...

Re: Gragorak's maps
If you're having trouble posting them, try wrapping them up in a .tar, .gz, or .bz2 extension. How that's exactly being done? I can't say anything about .tars or anything, but I usually make a .zip and that works too (generally right-click+"Create Archive" on your computer). About the map...

Re: artisticdude Might Be Back to Spriting...
The edit on my original work looks good, if I say so myself :P I'm not even going to pretend I'm an expert on this colour shifting thing, but would yellow be better for the highlights than pink? @ frogatto-esque tileset: The fish look slightly flat, but that's the only critique I think I can come up...

Re: Boldek's art dump (Shotguns!)
Just wondering why he's crouching down when he fires his weapon? To further the critique, he's attacking east, not southeast (which could probably merit a complete redraw of the gun to be incredibly fussy), the gun isn't giving him much recoil at all, and IMHO the gunpowder flare at the end of the b...

Re: Reepurr's stuff: Rainforest shelter
You have the magic power to make shading boots make sense :) Spent a while looking at how Loyalists' armour works, as well as what you did with the Trooper in your attachment, and the result was this (a nasty frankenstein was generated in the process). (EDIT: *reattaches Mounted Guard's hand*) progr...

whew dragon.
Nice to see someone who understands anatomy doing work on the Skeletal Dragon Great work on the legs and hips there.
I don't know if what I was working on a while back would be helpful at all?

@taptap: Most of that doesn't really apply to me, it being CoT feedback and all, but I noticed you commented on a big money bonus from Underground Channels?
Is the turn limit far too long or did you just bypass the "kill the lich" bit?

Re: Reepurr's stuff: Rainforest shelter
I wasn't intending to go away from the forums for a month again
Most of your critiques seemed to be directed at the soldier wearing too much armour, so I basically only edited him. I did a little on the standalone one at the bottom as well, but he didn't take to them so well.

Re: HTTT-Underground Channels Development
Are you playing the default version or mine? On the hardest difficulty? I have only tested it out on the normal difficulty level so I'm not sure how balanced this is on Easy and Challenging. Besides that, it's been a long while since I've touch this scenario :P Default on Easy. That's why I was sur...

Re: Art request -- icons
Just popping by with a mock-up of lawful, chaotic, neutral, and the Heals+4/Regenerates abilities. Is that the kind of thing you're looking for? icons-abilities.png And as an aside, my interpretation of the previous icons: ROW:COLUMN 1:1: Quick 1:2: Strong 1:3: Resilient 1:4: Intelligent 1:5: Health...

Re: HTTT-Underground Channels Development
Hewwo. :) I was hoping to actually bring the forums a version of Underground Channels which worked, but I did something, then forgot what it was, then realised I'd broken the game with it. If anyone can weed out the bug, I'd appreciate it. As an aside, what I've done so far is: • Allow the player to...

Re: Dragon sprite
Whew scary (but in a good way). I especially like the scales, and generally the whole sprite looks :awesome:!
The only particular critique I can come up with is that the tail's perspective seems a bit off, possibly because it hits the ground on its side. I could be looking at it wrong, though.

Re: Loyalist Bowman
comparing it when led by a lieutenant is quite a ridiculous way to balance loyalist units the fact is orc archers are way better value now compared to loyalist bowman because of the fire arrow and xp requirements It could be argued that an Elvish Archer is better than either of them, because for 3 ...
