Re: V1.9/1.10 - 05 - The Saurian Treasury
I played on 1.12.5 the first time today and levelled Huraldur, a loyal scout to mounted archer. He survuved the battle but is'nt recalled in later scenarios. I took a look at the files, but since I'm not that familiar with WML I could'nt find an obvious mistake. Any tips?

Re: Scenario Review: SotBE 3 - Towards Mountains of Haag
I don't know, if this has been reported before, I just played the scenario and the dwarven leader was killed by a troll. Kapou'e gave his monologue about defeating the dwarves but the scenario did not end.

Re: People of the Green Isle
Sry for not showing up for a long time!
This just looks great! I'm sorry that I cannot contribute on anything related to graphics, unit creation or campaign programming. When it comes to storytelling, I'd be happy to do my part of the work. Perhaps I could come up with some campaign ideas?

Re: stuck in valley of death
What I found to be a good approach on the two lower difficulties is recall every mage and a paladin, if available. Than recruit a second complete keep full of mages and attack the western enemy. He recruits zombies that are no match for your mages and level 2 ghosts that provide exp. Use Konrad's le...

Re: Stories of the Southern Continent
Whoa! Weeks without a post and now that! Great story. It's a good example how you can describe an entire culture with few words, as long as this words tickle the reader's imagination. I started to work on a story describing the arrival of the Chomi at the Green Isle, but it became a lesser priority ...

Re: Space Ships
The ships in Star Wars looked great from the outside. I'd still prefer to use a ship of the Firefly class for travel. (For interplanetar travel, since it does'nt have superluminal speed. For interstellar journeys it would be the TARDIS )

Re: V1.9/1.10 - 14 - Human Alliance
Maybe i can win if i can tell AI to retreat to Troll's keep after clearing it. And i need bazillion lvl1 troops=gold, gold, gold to keep up damnit. That actually seems to be a pretty good idea. And given that in most other sceanrios of LoW the player can order the allied AI, this would be a logical s...

Re: Damage types
When I wrote that I was somewhat pi$$ed because 2 skeletons completely wiped out my Calvary rush, WHILE STANDING IN THE WATER, but the dice can roll good and bad I guess. Correct me, if I'm wrong. It seems as you experienced a bad dice roll and decided that the whole system needs to be fixed. Well,...

It happened when an enemy unit reached the spot, it was a cavalryman. If you want to check it, I can upload a savegame.

In the scenario 'fundraising opportunity' the scenario goals don't tell you that you lose, when an enemy unit reaches the southern edge of the map.

Re: V1.9/1.10 - 09 - Bounty Hunters
I have the same problem. I really enjoy playing LoW on medium, but this is the only scenario that I only beat by cheating. "Costly Revenge" is a walk in the park compared to this one.

Re: People of the Green Isle
Perhaps it would be better to write a short story set in the south or on the old continent as the next step in the process, as that will help find what lore does and doesn't work in practice, and it will also give the common folk something to read. Nice idea! I would even do it, if I was'nt working...
