His ears may be under hairDuncanDill wrote: ↑May 18th, 2024, 2:44 pm Haha! You seem to have missed out a rather iconic elf feature, the ears! If I understand right this is more like a mummy than a skeleton, so it might make sense for him to have one broken ear?

Re: Are humans overfeatured?
Faerie fire? I don't think so. I was mean that in revised The South Guard Mal M'brin was changed from ancient lich into special unit with faerie fire attack to show he's an elf. From obvious reasons it's incompatible.

Re: Expanding The Great Continent - [Dunefolk Habitat]
Given that the work on the south opens up new possibilities are there plans to put any new races there besides Dunefolk? If so, from myself I would suggest a line of minotaurs.

Re: Zombies
Shouldn't the portrait of saurian corpse be rather more white then green/blue? After death when vital functions disappear and the heart stops beating the skin loses its color.

Re: A grand design for singleplayer mainline lore
Since they will be just another evil entity. I don't know why you're assuming that anything is "just another evil entity". Orcs are clearly not evil, as seen by Son of the Black Eye. Undead are really more chaotic neutral than evil in Wesnoth, as seen in the two undead campaigns (and prob...

Re: A grand design for singleplayer mainline lore
What we need for Rise of Wesnoth is not adding demons but improve the current story by adding more lich lords and Wesfolk sorcerers as enemies and not just orcs like now, maybe even make wesfolk new race in race (like Dunefolk but just for this campaining).

According to already existing campainings about demons like IftU they were literally summoned.DuncanDill wrote: ↑May 17th, 2024, 3:33 am I disagree, demons are very different than orcs and undead in the fact that they are magical entities that have not been summoned, and are also very powerful.
