How to include SDL_mixer with OGG support ?
Hello, While trying to compile Wesnoth, (under Win98 + MSYS + MinGW), I failed to pass the configure test for SDL_mixer. The problem seems to come that SDL_mixer.h doesn't have the OGG_new function in it. It seems as if it cannot handle the OGG support that is needed. After searching on the SDL_mixe...

New try by having all header files (from SDL related stuff) copied (as symlink won't work differently) in SDL-1.2.7/include/SDL directory. All binary lib files (from SDL related stuff) in SDL-1.2.7/bin. All library files (from SDL related stuff) in SDL-1.2.7/lib. $ ./configure checking for a BSD-com...

in my opinion this is a really really dumb idea, people go to servers for multiplayer not for campaigns... i mean i haven't even played most of them, they can't capture any interest... I must second Shade on that. Although I read the board, I have not sought deeply enough to understand how to insta...

Compiling Wesnoth 0.8.0 under Win98SE with MSYS + MinGW
Hello, I run a MS-Windows 98 Second Edition box. I installed MSYS + MinGW. I retrieve the 0.8.0 sources. I installed SDL_1.2.7, SDL_image, SDL_ttf, SDL_net, SDL_mixer, oggvorbis-win32sdk-1.0.1, freetype-2 I set the following environment to ensure finding of headers and libraries. $ echo $PATH .:/usr...

It will be nice. In the Eastern invasion introduction there isn't any idea from where undead came from, you just play the 1st map against 3 necromancers. Yes, but further down the campaign, one of the character tells some explanations in a group of dialog. Be patient and play it :) (I cannot reveal...
