What version (BfW and BMR), and do you have a save-file you can post?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: 1.16 SP Campaign: Trinity
Yes, you found a bug, thanks for reporting. The victory event is scripted for when you kill a mage or spearman, but I gave the AI too much recruitment choice, so it never recruited one of those for you. I will remove the AI choices in the next update. For now, you can use this save, just kill the &q...

Re: 1.16 SP Campaign - Bad Moon Rising
1.17.0 has been uploaded to the BfW 1.17 server. This is the first upload to the upcoming new Wesnoth version. Most of the changes were related to deprecation, but there is a new help system dialogue. If anyone has suggestions on what would be more helpful in that dialog, please let me know. Screens...

Re: Archaic Era (BfW 1.14)
Version 1.17.1 of both Archaic Era and Archaic Resources were uploaded to the BfW 1.17 server (in preparation for BfW 1.18). There were some small art updates, but mostly this dealt with lua deprecations (Era) and terrain macro deprecations (resources).

Re: 1.16 SP Campaign: Trinity
Yeah, that was a feature from a long, long time ago, a lot has changed since then. It's not that simple to implement, but I can put it on the TO DO list, maybe it'll be back in the BfW 1.18 version.

Re: Skeletal dragon portrait
I want to say more about this eventually, but I don't want to leave you hanging in the meantime, so for now just wanted to let you know that these are on the right track, my initial impression is that #52 is the best, though it does clip the wings on the top-edge (crops on the bottom & left edge...

Re: Skeletal dragon portrait
I don't really know what you mean by page plane, unless you're saying it looks flat, which I can see I meant the up/down-left/right plane, 2D, no depth. From the model images, I think it is just the camera angle and lighting, but the horn looks a bit like a flat object stuck behind a 3D dinosaur sk...

Re: 1.16 SP Campaign: Trinity
1.16.5 has been uploaded to the BfW 1.16 server. It is a fairly minor update, but it has a critical fix updating "Arif" -> "Dune Soldier" in the (almost) final battle.

Re: Skeletal dragon portrait
The glow might have been a distraction, though I did think you had a good take on it. There would still need to be some touch-ups and highlights for mainline. I'm also not sure about that big headspike - looks artificial (or crystal/prism shaped) and perspective seems off, unless it was one of two a...

1.17 - Reading Elevation
(This isn't really an MP thing, but it uses MP maps for demos and it should work with MP anyways, so here we are.) Screenshot_20230611_.jpg There is a cosmetic feature in 1.17 terrain graphics that has elevation, where there can be five levels (two lower, normal, two higher). It doesn't work like us...

Re: Skeletal dragon portrait
Regarding the skeletal dragon - I'd say it looks like a really good foundation, but it's still missing some details/context. I'm not trying to nit-pick it to death, but it does need a little more detailing. I've attached a quick example to show what I mean.

Re: Wesnoth Fauna
It would be really tight at this point, so probably not anymore. But those are certainly interesting, and the fact that they already have portraits helps. Are they a critical part of many mainline-adjacent (in the same world) UMC campaigns?

Re: Deception - Orcish SP Campaign (2 Parts)
Just to chime in on the AI generated art issue: You did the right thing and disclosed where it came from. The issue is in flux - like everyone else with skin in the game, we need to proceed with caution and we are trying to figure out what it all means. A year from now, we could all look back at thi...

Re: Skeletal dragon portrait
Nice use of a 3D model! The shoulder blades look a bit odd, but they aren't really visible in the portrait, so probably doesn't matter much. If this gets included in mainline, it would be nice to have the 3D model files as well, but it wouldn't be required. The portrait image is a bit synthetic and ...

Re: New animations
Quite a while ago I submitted new animations for the elvish fighter, but I haven't seen them in the game yet. Was wondering if there was still some issue with them Thanks for the SE running animation, that will certainly get into 1.17. I'm ambivalent about the strict need for a NE version; the chan...
