I'm running Mac OS X 10.3.6 and sharing my Mac with a friend.

Wesnoth runs fine for me but refuses to launch when he is logged in.

I'm assuming all the recent builds have the needed files embedded?

Here the idea is that the player CHOOSES the attack depth at the beginning of the scenario. Just checking if this looks ok....

I tried to upload a new version of my campaign, got rejected because it was above the 256K size limit. The problem is a file map.png which is some 400K(the wesnoth isle map) which because of changes in past

Hi all -
I downloaded Wesnoth 0.8.7 for Windows. Install was OK, but when I tried to play it (double-clicking on the shortcut), the screen went black and I got an error window saying - 68K - 84 Hz - Frequency is out of range .

In the fourth scemario of the South Guard , I get an error message illegal character , when I try to start the scenario.

I think I have heard of this problem before, and that it was caused by a chance between pier and bridge graphics, or something to that effect.

Just out of curiosity, what are the system requirements for Wesnoth?
I am running it on a Pentium-II\300 MHz with 96 megs of memory, running Debian Sarge. I imagine that is in the lower end of what people here are using.

Anyone manage to run it on anything slower then that?

I cannot seem to get the hang of CVS... that or i have real bad luck.

i run

cvs -z3 -d:ext:turin@savannah.nongnu.org:/cvsroot/wesnoth co wesnoth

then, in wesnoth/,

./autogen.sh
./configure --prefix=/home/joe/wesnoth/wesnoth --enable-editor

then i run make, which gives me this error:

Just installed Wesnoth and i emerged it.
I can play the tutorial and i can play the campains.

But when i try to load multiplayer (which is the only reason i will play westnoth) it crashes when i choose my race, it dont crashes when i dont edit it. Then the game runs fine.

I just upgraded from 8.1 to 8.5
I had a working scenario where one of the leaders ia a drake mage and he can recruit drake mages. Now this scenario no longer works and complains that Drake Mage not found, though it is in /units.

Any ideas?

What is wrong with this code? It is supposed to move every crow on the battlefield in a random fashion (the crows are at idle_ai) without attacking. If they go off the screen, they are killed. However, it doesn't work.

I was playing a multiplayer human vs AI game. I lost my leader, but since I had enough higher level units I was able to continue and crush my foes. Just as I killed the last leader it said I was defeated! What a letdown.

PS I was using 0.8.7 cvs from a week before 0.8.7 came out, in case that has...

Whenever I clike on get more campains in the campain menu, a box pops up that wants the server name. When I just keep the default in there (campains.wesnoth.org) the game stops for i few minuits and then it says remote host Disconnected

What does this mean. Am i doing something wrong?

when lauching wesnoth it says starting music but nothing happens.
I added a /usr/local/share/wesnoth/music with all ogg files from 0.8 stable version but it does not work.
