When a unit has both active and inactive abilities, they're shown in the sidebar in different colors:

Even when a unit has only one ability, the colors for active and inactive are different enough that I can easily tell whether that ability is active or not....

I have a question about using the graphics of Wesnoth for another program.
There is a program called Wonderdraft , a wonderfull tool to create maps for roleplaying games and other purposes.

I think this is a general problem. I lately had a similar one when I was playing that
campaign with octopusses ... well cuttlefish.
They appear quite different depending on the depth of the ocean/water and I
remember mixing up units sometimes, in particular when the colour was similar.

Is there a post here on the ethics of using art from the game? I think the GPL makes it legal but what do the artists think? Is it cool as long as you credit the game or should you email each artist and ask permission or would they just prefer we not use it at all?

I just wanted to point out that the unit types Great Troll and Troll Warrior have the same sprite. I didn't see this recorded on any Missing/wanted art list so I thought it might be helpful to post and point it out.
