More UMC music

Postby West » January 30th, 2010, 9:55 pm

Sifting through my Audio dir I found a few downmixes of unfinished tracks (I actually don't remember creating a couple of them... now I know how Ozzy feels). They're all very short and of varying quality, but someone might find them useful.

Hail to the Cheese
The Journeys of St Tadpole
Sir Rupert the Chaste
I CAN HAZ BUBBLEGUM?
Space Marines!
Tedium in G minor
Milk and Cookies

As always the tracks are CC-BY-licensed. Enjoy!

Edit: Espreon kindly informed me that everything that goes on the addons server needs to be GPL'd. So I'm hereby dual-licensing these tracks under GPL v2 so they can be used for Wesnoth (and of course other GPL) stuff.

Very odd names. "Space Marines!" would've kind of fit with one of my futuristic campaigns if it was longer and darker, but I guess Aethaeryn could use it for his own as is.

Awesome compositions! I especially love the High King's March, though I con't help but feel that the part with the solo flute makes it seem a bit lighthearted in that one area, which kinda takes away from the more serious parts... but hey, I'm no LoM. I can definitely use all of these, and they're kinda addictive. I listen to them all the time now. :)

BTW, we're getting like over 2 feet of snow here in VA, so I've got plenty of time to fool around with that last composition I posted. [/offtopic]

Love the Hail to the Cheese. You ought to make it longer. :P

Hmm. You know, now that I think about it, I recognize that theme that the violins are playing in the back of Hail to the cheese. Can't quite place it though...
