Killing the virgins

We conquered all the enemy units and have not solved how to kill the virgins. Nothing has changed on the screen, including the virgin alters, for 15 turns. Any tips?

Hi, i personally have not played valley of the ancients but here is the link to the forum that the creator of the scenario has made, if you post questions there he will probably know more about it
