AI bug

Postby Dunno » February 8th, 2010, 12:07 pm

In campaign Legend of Wesmere in scenario Battle of the Book I have to defend some mage called [I don't remember]. Now, this is very hard, nearly impossible to do so if he doesn't recruit anyone (well except on gryphon and one mage) and attacks 3 troll warriors and 1 rock lobber. They kill him every time I load game. I tried sending him reinforcements but that makes thing even worse, he goes further fighting trolls. Is there anything you can do about this? Or at least give me a tip about how you won this scenario? I attached a save from just before he goes kamikaze.
Thanks

EDIT: I have an idea. Could you make all computer controlled units, which have to survive, less aggressive. So they wouldn't leave their castles or something like that. Btw, after restarting game and loading a bit earlier save, all of a sudden he retreated to his keep and started recruiting mages...

Sending him reinforcements is exactly what you have to do. When I played, he behaved himself fine once I was doing the fighting for him.

Beetlenaut is right, it's upon you to save Crelanu from his enemies.
In order to make it a little easier I have given him the village ownership for the scenario.
That will delay him getting slaughtered a little.
