Save files disappeared

Save files disappeared
Hello!
I haven't played Wesnoth for about a week, and opened it this afternoon to find out that my save files, add-ons and campaigns were all bugged. Each time I opened the Load screen, it showed several files which were not game files. I also looked at my campaign screen, and it didn't have any of my add-on campaigns, but instead duplicates of the mainline campaigns.
I have two print screens, but am lacking knowledge to upload these for you. So, I hope that my explanation works for you.
I am playing on the latest stable BfW game, 1.12.4 and am on Windows 8.1. Please let me know if I am missing something.
