whoa whoa whoa whoa slow down there... can you really play wesnoth on the wii?? If you can then, awesome! Just as a side note, how can there be that high number percents? Are those on accident? But I'm not a math wiz, so I am probably wrong. Btw, thanks for answering so fast! And even Dave??!!

Maybe this could be a sticky? It could replace the "where are wesnoth player located" thread...

No, you can't play Wesnoth on a Wii, but if you read his post correctly, you would see that you can visit wesnoth.org on a Wii.

I think someone should start a new poll.
What's this annoying thing that appears at the bottom of every one of my posts?

Ah, I see. Well then the new poll or sticky would be what OS's you use to play wesnoth. That would make more sense.

As in you? Or were you just talking about me? If you were, you're right, I do play wesnoth on both. So if you were talking about me, then what do you use? If you weren't talking about me, then disregard everything I just said.

It is number of views/visits then a space to indicate a separation (probably a tab where it was originally pasted from - tab doesn't work on forums to indent) followed by a percent under 100 (as percent is percent with 100 max in statistics) with a decimal to be more specific with less rounding. It's completely feasible. If you mean why the percent is so high, the real distribution on the Internet is about 95% Windows, 4% Mac, and 1% other (including Linux) :P

Ah, there was my problem. I didn't see the space between the 1,000 number and the percent. So windows is about 66.06% Alright, that makes since to me. I need to start reading posts more carefully.

I think that the OS used to visit wesnoth.org is a fairly good approximation of what people use to play Wesnoth with. Note that people using the Wii to browse the web are only a tiny fraction of visitors....

I have a dual-core PC with Windows XP as well as my microA1-C (750FX PPC CPU, 512MB RAM) with AmigaOS4. For some reason I only play Wesnoth on the A1. For browsing I use whichever computer I happen to have KVM switched to at the time, though for some sites I am forced to use the PC. ATM I am using OS4 to post this.

I'm also the person responsible for building the latest AOS4 binaries of Wesnoth (afxgroup did the initial port).

On the computer I use to play Wesnoth, I have both Windows XP Home Edition, and Mint Linux 3.0 KDE Edition (which works better than Kubuntu for me).
Then the other computers I have have Mandrake Linux, Ubuntu, Absolute Linux, Windows (one with 95 and one with 3.1), Damn Small Linux. Then I have older ones, but I don't use them frequently (like old macs, thomsons, an epson, etc...)

Mac OS 10.4.10, with Ubuntu on a Parallels Virtual PC. I play Wesnoth on the Mac and often question why I even have Ubuntu.
