Cursors for Wesnoth

Post by Woodwizzle »

Wesnoth needs cursors. A standard cursos as well as cursors for moving a unit, sending a unit on goto, attacking, and waiting for the AI to move. Only colors we can use are black, white, and transparent.

Here is a 2 frame 24x24 cursor for waiting. (Hope the size and the animation arn't problems)

Here is a modified version of the short sword graphic that could make for a good attack icon

Yours are nice, but maybe you should add another frame to the clock

16x16 is probably a better size. How come these havn't been implemented yet?

I talked to Dave on IRC and we decided on 16x16 for the black and white cursors and 24x24 or possibly 32x32 for a colored set of cursors (which can use the new alpha channel :D).

If we use fmunoz's 16x16 sword as the main pointer then this could be the battle cursor.

Added an arrow to the corner of the goto image, and used a single frame of it for the move image. This way the feet will start moving when you are no longer ordering your unit on a one turn move. :) I'm also adding fmunoz's sword graphic as a 3-color.gif

Sirp said he needs the animations split up, so here is the hourglass:
