Sorry for my long absence! I'm back and I'd love to lend my ear to any pieces you're considering for review.

I also found a decent XM tracker for Linux so I could theoretically write something, but I'm no virtuoso. :)

Perhaps I'll do some sound effects. ;)

sound effects are always welcome,
especially if you have decent recording equipment.
Feel free to PM me if you start a new terrain oriented thread. It's easy for me to miss them among all the other art threads.

Any suggestions for decent recording tools? I'm using Cool Edit Pro 2 at the moment. Works good to record from my guitar and synth. I also got Powertab Editor to make midi melodies, bit hard though.

I'm quite fond of Audacity. It works on Win32 and Linux (I run the latter.)
