I find myself incapable of abandoning these guys. The march continues, if slowly.
Or to put it in less mawkish terms: new spearman ahoy.
- Changed pose, aiming for something less stiff then the old one. (I suppose I could say "more dynamic" but that word craps me off no end.)
- New face. He now looks like something one would be more inclined to stab then hug. Took quite some time to eliminate the asian look.
- Actually appears equal in 'power' to bladesman.
Umm, yeah... so, what do people think?

Yeah, that's pretty normal for me. Still don't have it figured.Eternal wrote:Armor needs very minor shading tweaks...
Perhaps, but it would make the spear very long. It is currently exactly the same length as it was in the old version where he's holding it upright. (I used the rotate tool then drew over it.)Eternal wrote:And maybe the other end of the spear could be sticking out from behind his back (I'm very unsure about this).
Thanks.Eternal wrote:Overall it's very good.
Revisions for the Skewer.
Touched up the armour, I wanted it to look like a progression of the spearman's armour.
He also got the spearman's face (a little lazy, but heaps of mainline units do it).
(By the way, the warrior and savage have both been fitted with the bladesman face.)
