Altserver server2.wesnoth.org has been down for two days at least
Hi, I'm amazed tbh that nobody noticed or reported, but the alternative mp server seems to be down, from yesterday at least. https://status.wesnoth.org/ shows it offline and showed it offline yesterday

Yeah, we have notifications if a particular instance crashes and automatically restarts, but apparently not if the whole server goes down

As an update - the server hosting that we use for the alternate MP server had a power issue (https://www.tuxfamily.org/en/news/2023070200), and we're waiting for someone to be able to check in person what's going on with the server.
