The Bees Journey [Version 1.3.0]

Post by KameRamen »

That summer, the hornets invasion destroyed the Kingdom of Bees. You, the princess, must lead the bees on their journey to rebuild the homeland.

Kame means turtle in Japanese. I chose this name because I love turtles and ramen.

I recently checked the forums and read about the new version (1.3.1) of The Bees Journey.
When I began playing, the wesnoth engine printed an error: "Unknown unit type: Elder_Bee".
I checked the unit files in the insects_real folder, but couldn't find a problem. So I checked the main.cfg, and found that the insects folder was referenced twice.
#ifdef HARD
{~add-ons/The_Bees_Journey/units/insects_real} #"real" bees
#else
{~add-ons/The_Bees_Journey/units/insects} #bees
#endif
{~add-ons/The_Bees_Journey/units/bird}
{~add-ons/The_Bees_Journey/units/humans}
{~add-ons/The_Bees_Journey/units/insects} #bees again!

I commented out the second insects folder reference, which fixed the problem.

Because there are units other than bees in the insects folder, perhaps the bee files should be moved to another folder or a sub-folder of insects?
On another topic, I was wondering why the bee unit lost its fire bee/scout bee advancement lines.

Hey did you add some new music to this campaign recently? It might be worth posting it to the music forum separately so that other campaign authors can be aware of it; I like it a lot!
