Magefire Online

Post by scott »

I found this one at apple.com and thought it was interesting because it was also a turn-based strategy game - a "BFW peer," if you will.
- you summon troops to fight for you
- turn based strategy
- you win by being the last leader on the level
- play vs computer or humans online

I'm sure it's very different than BFW, but I'm going to go try it now and see.
About Magefire Online
A true fantasy strategy game. You play the role of a mage - a magician - who summons creatures to do his bidding and extends his will through spells and magical powers. To win, you must be the last remaining mage on the level.

Magefire Online uses a turn based gameplay system - theres no ’tank rush’ here like in real time strategy games - if you win, its because you had a plan. This is real strategy.

Magefire Online can be played against the computer or multiplayer. Multiplayer options are hotseat mode or play by email.

Magefire Online is now at public beta status.

Alright it's not that much fun. Gameplay is too sluggish, among other things. Maybe it will improve.
