human wall-guard

Post by turin »

this is a unit for my loyalist campaign, and is only used in one scenario, so don't yell at me about how humans shouldn't have a crossbow unit etc etc. just commment on the art and how it can be improved. :)

its an edit of the longbowman with the orcish crossbowman's crossbow added, if you couldn't tell.

Good one :-)
maybe change the helmet to a metal top and leather "ear-guards" (or maybe not..)
I'm waiting to the attack frames (so I could steal the crossbow for the orc)

if its too red, the longbowman is too blue. all i did was take each longbowman's shade and change it to red, no change to saturation or value. a cheap trick, i know, but it got the job done.

MAybe you could try to change the highlights in a non-red colour (look at the walking corpse shirt for a pallette)

Yes the longbowman is too blue, but no one asked me about it :)
