Re: Hi.
Espreon and jb are the only two I know for sure are around long term any more. I saw Doc a while ago but I've not seen him since. Turuk's long gone, I think he got deployed. Not sure about Mythological and B_t_M.

Re: Hi.
Bob, Doc and jb are still around. Espreon was active until fairly recently — his laptop's screen got fried, so he isn't returning until he gets a new computer.JW wrote:Haven't decided yet. Going through some transitory stuff right now so I thought I'd see how you guys were developing. Are Turuk, Doc Paterson, Mythological, and Espreon still around? How about jb and Bob)The_Mighty?
Mythological doesn't seem to be active despite his lingering around. Sadly, Turuk is gone for a long time and there's evidence indicating that he might have decided to not return to Wesnoth.

Re: Hi.
I believe that happened to him previously as well, or something similar.shadowmaster wrote:Espreon was active until fairly recently — his laptop's screen got fried, so he isn't returning until he gets a new computer.
And it's a shame about Turuk.

I know, everyone's disappointed about Turuk... if I got three wishes, one of them would be for him to return.

It's become something of a legend, although the original post ceased to exist some time back, due to the former rigors autopruning.JW wrote:lol...I guess I made some joke about peanut butter before I left? I honestly don't remember
Peanut butter.
Peanut butter again.
Moar of peanut butter.
The sad story of how your peanut butter post was lost forever.

Re: Hi.
Does the Wayback machine archive that often? Equally, does anyone know when the thread was?

i have no idea...lol. I'm kinda curious to remember the context. I do vaguely remember it now though.thespaceinvader wrote:Does the Wayback machine archive that often? Equally, does anyone know when the thread was?
-edit: help me out; it was apparently in off-topic? What was the thread about?
Re: Hi.
I forget what exactly the thread was about, but IIRC it was semi serious and then out of the blue:
Which then prompted some to question your sanity. Ever since then an underground movement made up of "a secret syndicate of the best Wesnoth players around, so secret, in fact, I won't tell you who they are" have been trying unsucessfully to turn it into a meme.JW wrote:Did I leave my peanut butter in here?

Re: Hi.
I never even saw the thread; it was before my time. Gambit told me about it way back when, when the 'peanut butter' quip was brought up in some off-topic thread. It's now a kind of forum joke among those who know what it means.

Re: Hi.
Well I learned about it in the logical puzzles thread. I believe Gambit said [acronym=do you really have to check...?]DILMPBH[/acronym] there, and then explained why he said that. Good times when shadowmaster wasn't locking every thread.
Spoiler:
Oh, I'm sorry, did I break your concentration?
Re: Hi.
I did not post with a picture. Someone added that after I think.
