WML - Continuing a scenario after your leader dies.

Post by aelius »

I'm attempting to put together a "last stand" scenario, where your army will be overwhelmed no matter what you do. Getting the AI to overwhelm you is the easy part.

The tough part is getting the game not to think i've lost the scenario when my leader dies.

I've tried [event]s with both name=die and name=defeat, and neither of them seems to intercept things before I lose the scenario, so, is it possible to have a scenario where you win when your leader dies?

Code: Select all

[event]
name=die
[filter]
description=leader
[/filter]
...
[endlevel]
result=victory
[/endlevel]
[/event]

Could you upload the .cfg?
It's all fun and games until someone loses a lawsuit. Oh, and by the way, sending me private messages won't work. :/ If you must contact me, there's an e-mail address listed on the website in my profile.

No such luck... I still get the standard "You have been defeated" message...
