I tried this a while ago and found it to be frustratingly buggy. Not sure how far they have progressed. Great idea though, and based on an extremely fun game with no real modern equivalent.

Well development had been slow and steady up until about 6 months ago, but now serge (the maintainer) is getting a lot more help and development pace seems to have picked up and is getting faster with each month that goes by. I think most of the gameplay bugs have been eliminated and they are adding a lot of new features now. I hold high hopes for this game in 2005, as at the current rate of development it will end the year a fairly complete game.
