Can't choose eras if there are too many installed

On 1.16.6, when I have too many eras installed I cannot pick the ones at the bottom, they are visible and clickable, but if i click them it rolls over and selects one of the selectable eras.

It is probably same as https://github.com/wesnoth/wesnoth/issues/6780
