You want to know why a "fly" ability is a bad idea? Please list the units that should have it. Now observe that the Gryphon has a different movement rate than the bat, which has a different movement rate than the Sylph, which has a different movement rate than the ghost. Which of those uni...

Sounds like it could be an extension to {ABILITY_LEADERSHIP}, so that the unit in question that has that ability of fearless application on other units, forcedly must have the normal leadership applied to, both under a single name. However, I don't see what this implies that can't be done with a {A...

Another Unit Ability: Rallies

Yes, we don't need any more unit abilities. It amuses me to share this one anyway. A unit with Rallies (which would probably be akin to a Standard Bearer or something), would, effectively, give Fearless to adjacent friendly units, so they would not take any time of day based penalties. It's kinda li...

I have no musical talent, but I know what I like, and this is mighty fine stuff. I look forward to hearing more of your work in the game!

whats wrong with an intel/resil captain? marshal him! I tend to agree - Intelligent shines the brightest on leadership units like Captains/Marshalls and Healer units like Shamans/White Mages, since, really, all you want to do with those units is get them to level 3 as rapidly as possible and then n...

More or less as Turin says, but there's really very seldom any reason to -not- recall any loyal units you have - unless they're completely irrelevant to the scenario, that is. Don't recall Loyal Merfolk on a map with virtually no water. Generally, my recalls look like this (With the implied criteria...

Thank you Sap. Yes, that's my point - the drake units lend themselves far more easily to assasination techniques, because they are fast, hard hitting, and less limited by terrain. The loyalists (or anyone else, for that matter) simply don't have comparable maneuverability across the variety of terra...

Mostly an improvement, but IMHO the new face is really not very good. It is out of proportion, her expression is just... weird, and it is much too anime-ish. I think you need to redo, again, all the parts that were covered by the removed braid... Erg. Pet peeve. It's not at all an anime-ish face, i...

More likely, people just don't need to -search- for StarCraft.

The case you describe Airk is exception. Better not think about it unless situation is desperate or you have a 3/4 chance to kill enemy leader. Because when a desperate assassination fails, you lose a lot of your army in vain. That's why you don't do it desperately and foolishly. But if the leader ...

On a small map, it would seem the Drakes' quickest bet is to lure the enemy out of position and then slam his leader with a couple of high move units. This can end the game in a hurry if your opponent hasn't been keeping his leader covered. Fighters are probably the best for this, especially if you ...

It's basically an offensive version of first strike. But, say, 5-4 whirlwind would be the same as 10-2 with a more gaussian distribution. So not that much of an impact, I think, though there is some. Admittedly, I'm not familiar with the term "gaussian distribution" but it's worth remembe...

the only units the opponent should be attacking your ghosts with are mages, orcish archers, and other holy and fire using units. A shadow violates 3 rules of RIPLIB, which are- 1. cold melee becomes blade melee. (different weapon type) 2. loss of ranged attack. (loss of attack) 3. loss of drain. (l...

Enlighten me. Why is this not a problem on all maps that feature water villages?
