In a scenario I'm currently sketching out, I was thinking of introducing an object that can only be used by elves, all elves and no one else but elves.
Is there another way of implementing this filter than actually listing all existing elf-types:type=Elvish Archer,Elvish......?
I've noticed that the ai no longer seems to behave the way it used to wrt the target tag. I'm trying to make allied units follow the player leader around and protect him (as in Home of the North Elves). But the allies resolutely ignore the player and zip off to fight the enemies.

I just downloaded some user-made multiplayer maps. Exactly how should I edit the multiplayer.cfg to have them appear in the map list under Multiplayer/Host mp. game/Create game in Wesnoth? What do I have to modify? Should I just make a new section between tags using the generic multiplayer...

Due to recent changes, the way works is now slightly different with respect to which unit is assigned the object.
Basically the first unit that matches the tag is awarded the object. If no unit matches the tag, then the 'cannot_use_message' is displayed (unless silent=yes is set).
I've just done my first map, and I'd like you to look at it and comment. Also, since it is a multiplayer map, and there aren't many of them with the game, it could be added to the game if you want.

How hard would it be to implement a random campaign, i.e. randomly generated maps (as in multiplayer), that follow on as long as you want to keep playing.

Not to be a prick, but really. Delfador's not yoda. The only way that any character can do a yoda impersonation is if they are short, asian, and mastered.
Delfador being only the last of the above, and that's a pretty weak link.
The obvious suggestion here is to change it to We must go there....
Me and a few friends are starting to put together a multiplayer map pack. While the current maps are all high quality, there is not much of a selection. So, we hope to release Wesnoth's first MP Mappack (and get it added to CVS, if the devs think the maps are good, but i digress).

I enjoy playing cooperatively with friends against the computer. I created this map to be played with 3 Humans working together against 3 computers who were all fighting each other. Playing any of the computer sides may also be possible, but could be very difficult, the Notherners especially.
