Another good MMO: www.dofus.com
It has a lot of humor in it, and isn't just a WoW rip-off, like others. (no names)

Cave Story is fun. Very little replay value though, you finish it and that's it.
And if you have a train ride and have something like 9-10 hours to kill, you can always get frustrated with IWBTG.

Although Cave Story does have multiple unlockable endings...
Re: What are you playing right now? (Games)
Starcraft 2

And now I'm playing Myst again, and finally making some progress! Yay!
I'm not really around any more, but you can find me in TvTropes.

Re: What are you playing right now? (Games)
Europa Universalis 3 - detailed historical grand strategy game, the best I've ever found
Civilization 5 - but only the demo very smooth gameplay
Avernum 6 - Last in a long line of great indie RPGs, again, only the demo
Space Empires 5 - Best space strategy game EVER, though it's immediate predecessor is almost as good and not as buggy
Those are the ones I've played recently. But somebody mentioned KOTOR and I can't resist a shameless plug for that awesome game! Hands down, never a better Star Wars game, any genre. IMO, one of the best RPGs period. Especially the first one. If you haven't played it, than I won't spoil it, but I will say this: I've rarely become emotionally attached to video game characters like in KOTOR 1. In fact, just writing this makes me want to play it again!
Oh, and X-COM was also great. Ignore the latest release. I am ashamed it will see the light of day.

Anyone played Eversion? Free computer downloadable (not sure about OS's) game with cutesy (though somewhat low quality compared to wesnoth) pixelart graphics. You play as a little flower thing trying to save a princess in a platformer similar to Mario. You guys should try, there's 2 endings and the game is really entertaining!
Re: What are you playing right now? (Games)
Age of Mythology, made in 2002 or so! Still good.
Wesnoth, naturally
Master of Orion III
I WOULD play Civilization V full if it would get working...

Vanilla is the best IMO, Titans is a bit too much.sur.nhm wrote:yeah, AoM rulez.Lollipopz wrote:Age of Mythology, made in 2002 or so! Still good.

I think that the Titans campaign is more fun than the vanilla one. Also, I like the Atlantians very much! Arcus team 1 go!LightFighter wrote:Vanilla is the best IMO, Titans is a bit too much.sur.nhm wrote: yeah, AoM rulez.
