The other thread is probably better. My answer is over there.

Re: Bad Moon Rising
I'm sorry, but I do not understand. If you are asking if it is possible to carry over recall lists between the different parts, it is not possible. More info on that here.

On BMR 3, All dreams end II.
When you need to kill Ares:
I killed him with the sword. I think there should be a victory. But I get a Defeat.
Something going wrong? or did i miss something?
- Wesnoth 1.7.5
- BMR 0.8.9

You are correct. What messages were displayed for defeat?Freggell wrote:I killed him with the sword. I think there should be a victory.

Directly after death of ares was "I feel light headed"
and then something with "Sweet succes ...."
Screen goes Black, Reanna disapeared, and then Defeat. So i think It has something to do with Reanna disapearing.
Edit:
Possibly the problem i located in Wesnoth 1.7.5. Found the same thing with another cenario.
Re: Bad Moon Rising
I will look into this, but I'd recommend you upgrade to 1.7.9 when you can. The unstable branch changes between releases, so 1.7.5 probably has a lot of bugs that have been fixed.

Re: Bad Moon Rising
not sure if this topic covers trinity as well - in the map where you have to turn a shyde and then an elvish marshal it would be nice if the map ended in success also when the marshal is the last enemy unit on the battlefield when being turned
right now if there are no other elves on the map and he is Khtonned the map goes on, never being able to end

Like cats? I've made a whole faction of them to kick ass with!

Felinian faction is part of the Beyond Southern Hells era

Re: Bad Moon Rising & Trinity
I played BMR Part 1 & 2 with "easy" flawless, but I don't get it in Part 3, where I have too flee to the "west tunnel". First the is one orc tribe and the demons, after a while there appears the second orc tribe on my way to the western tunnel. That's alright, I clear the base and use it to get some reinforcements and some new guys to stop the demons for a while, cause they are moving faster. But as i climbed half the map upstairs, the phantom queen appears and I don't know how to manage to fight both parties. The ghost-soldier are way to strong for my level three units and it slows me down and the demons attack from behind. I tried to "hide" in the small area right to the main path, but the demons destroyed the ghosts easily and after that I'm the lone victim out there. The demons are way to many or/and to strong to to fight both parties at the same time in my opinion. I played Wesnoth for some 100 hours but this thing is quite unfair.
Re: Bad Moon Rising & Trinity
The enemies are supposed to be overwhelming. Others have had problems with that scenario (example: http://forum.wesnoth.org/viewtopic.php?p=386817#p386817), but it is not impossible once you figure it out. Revising it is on my list of things to do.

Re: Bad Moon Rising & Trinity
Hi,
sorry for not reporting the problem earlier because I assumed somebody would notice anyway: I can not even start part three since the last update. I updated today to 0.9.1 and the same problem as in 0.9.0 appears since wesnoth 1.7.8 (now also in 1.7.10). When startung the campaign after choosing a level I get a lot of errors on the console with a finally unsolvable problem:
I might add that I'm playing under Debian Linux so file names are case sensitive.
Kind regards
Andreas.

Re: Bad Moon Rising & Trinity
That doesn't look good. I use Linux too, but don't have such problems. Do you have Archaic Era installed?
I'm not sure what that's doing there, maybe there is a problem if you load multiple campaigns during a given session of Wesnoth...

Re: Bad Moon Rising & Trinity
No - that's the solution. Wesnoth is obviosely missing a dependency system like I know it from Debian. After installing Archaic Era everything works fine.doofus-01 wrote:That doesn't look good. I use Linux too, but don't have such problems. Do you have Archaic Era installed?
Thanks for the hint
Andreas.
