General- Disable chat
It is now possible to set the number of displayed chat lines to 0 in the multiplayer preferences. This hides all text sent by other players during a multiplayer match from being shown, both in the game as well as when watching replays.
- Text formatting in desktop notifications
The text of desktop alerts shown by Wesnoth, such as when a new game is created while in the online multiplayer lobby, will no longer the literal text formatting markup (for example, showing the text <b> when it should be bolded). - Link formatting
Links to web pages posted in the online multiplayer lobby are now correctly displayed as links when the exact same link appears twice as well as when the link ends up split across multiple lines.
General issues:
- OneDrive can interfere with Wesnoth’s user config/data directory set-up, leading to all kinds of different manifestations of the issue. There’s no fix available yet. The recommendation for the time being is to avoid syncing the Wesnoth user directory with OneDrive.
General issues:
- Preprocessor errors corrupt cache (issue #1924). If this happens you have to wipe your cache. That can be done in Preferences → Cache.

On the Mac version Wesnoth_1.14.15.dmg when opening, an alert comes up :

Re: Wesnoth 1.14.15
That can happen if the download wasn't completed for some reason. If you redownload the dmg, does it still happen?

Re: Wesnoth 1.14.15
I redownloaded it, restarted my computer, just in case.
Same error.
When the Opening "Wesnoth_1.14.15.dmg" window is "Checking volumes..."
that's when the other with the alert opens saying "there may be a problem..."

What if you check your download against http://files.wesnoth.org/releases/Wesno ... dmg.sha256?

Re: Wesnoth 1.14.15
What does that mean? How do I do that?
Re: Wesnoth 1.14.15
I figured it out looking it up online.

Re: Wesnoth 1.14.15
The checksum for the file containing the checksum wasn't needed, but you did successfully verify that the .dmg file is not corrupted.
We're looking into this, it may be an issue with an expired certificate.

Re: Wesnoth 1.14.15
Okay, so I assume it's okay to open it, then, since the checksum matches, no alterations/malware/etc.?

Re: Wesnoth 1.14.15
A new dmg has been uploaded which uses the new signing certificate - can you check and see if that prevents the warning from showing up now?
